Hall-Barnard Cemetery holding only 6 graves and was located on a small hill over looking a bend of the Grand River, about 3/4 mile northeast of Archie, on property owned by the city and currently used as city septic lagoons. The legal description is NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 34, Twp. 43, Range 31. The Grand River Drainage Ditch now goes across one corner of where the cemetery was and within recent years the monuments, along with the trees and brush which had over run the cemetery were bulldozed up in a pile near the edge of the drainage ditch. Very little remains

This cache is located @ 450' west of where the graveyard was. The outer rd is rough gravel, and continues all the way to the dead end barrier. It has not been used much because of a pile of unspread gravel between 1st and 2nd gate to septic area. No entrance to city grounds is needed. If uncomfortable driving around pile, walking distance becomes @ 0.23 mi. one way. DO NOT ATTEMPT CACHING FROM US 49 HWY!!! Please show respect and enjoy.
