Geocache Description:

Bridge over troubled waters

.Magnetic Nano located close to the Mersy Street Bridge.

Harland & Wolff's iconic yellow cranes, Samson and Goliath, dominate the view across the east of the city. Built by German firm Krupp, they were installed in 1969 and 1974 respectively. They are the city's most identifiable pieces of industrial heritage which can be viewed from this location.

The late actor James Ellis, who grew up in Park Avenue, gained nationwide recognition on the BBC police series Z-Cars, which ran from 1962 to 1978. He also appeared in playwright Graham Reid's acclaimed Billy trilogy. Grab the James Ellis Cache GC9CJ6H  enroute to this cache.

Stop and rest a spell and watch the waters of the Connswater flow down towards Belfast Lough.

Wheelchair accessible up to the cache location but would be unavailable to reach to wheel chair users without assistance.

This is a popular area and is always busy so stealth is required.  Please place the cache back in the exact location it was found in.

NO excuse will be accepted for not signing the log.
