UK Mega 2021: Lincolnshire

Lincs Go Fly a Kite

Join us for a kite flying event on Skegness Beach.

Where: Skegness Promenade, South Bracing. There is pay and display parking close by and there are additional car parks in the town.

When: Thursday 5th August 2021 10:00 to Noon.

Why: We're delighted to be bringing you to one of the jewels of the east coast, our very own Skegness, for a morning of kite flying fun. You can make your own or use a ready made kite. The only stipulation is that it has to be a mini kite (the same size as a piece of A4 paper or less).

What: Something very similar to this event was planned by the Sussex team for us last year, but, of course it couldn't take place, so feel free to wear your blue Sussex T-shirts if you wish!

There will be time for the usual chat and swapping of TBs and other trackables, bring a drink, a snack or a picnic and a chair for a social lunchtime get together after the event, before visiting the local Adventure Labs and finding a few caches!

Dogs are allowed on the beach here, but please keep them under control and clean up after them.
