I have noticed lately that Ark City's caches have been dwindling a bit. There used to be a cache near this location, but I could never find it. Seeing today that it was archived, I thought it was as good a time as any to boost the local caches a bit.
This is a guardrail hide, just off of the US Highway 77 bypass as it turns south. I don't recall seeing a container like this before, so thought I would try it out.
My favorite pen is the Pilot G-2 in the 7 mm variety. I have tried larger sizes, they get too blotchy for my writing. The smaller sizes seem 'scratchy'. I carry at least one of these pens with me most of the time, and every now and then I forget, and leave one in my pocket. When laundry day comes around, my wife can be heard from miles away when this occurs.
