The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce has created an official GeoTour. This sneaky little hide is just inside the park & may require the buddy system to retrieve since this is a very popular park and the cache is hidden in a highly visible area. So, we've given this one a higher difficulty rating and it's best to look for it when the park is less busy! A metal TOTT (Tool Of The Trade) will help with retrieval of the container from it's hiding spot & with the log from the tube. Please use Stealth and/or Teamwork to block the view of muggles as you search and discover this geocache. BYOP Log only - cryo tube.
Memorial Park is the center of the park system that includes both activity centers and natural habitat conservation. Consisting of more than 100 acres, the Park includes 1.65 miles of Hike and Bike trails and a 3/4 mile Nature trail with interpretive signs, and rest benches. Soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, off leash Dog Park, playscapes and fitness stations, birding sites and picnic facilities to serve a wide variety of interests throughout the year. The Dog Park, Rockport has almost two acres of land devoted to a fenced, off-leash dog park, which is located at Memorial Park. There are two separate areas, for large and small dogs; water, disposal stations, training props and benches. The Skate Park, which is located in Memorial Park, boasts a 6,000-square-foot modular facility. One must be 10 years of age or older to utilize the skate park.
