Vi har jobbat med geocaching på våra SO-lektioner. Vi har lärt oss läsa koordinater och om Gällaryds geografi och historia.
Vi har lagt ut totalt 4 cacher, leta gärna reda på alla och logga dem på hemsidan.

Gällaryd är en by som ligger på en höjdrygg som löper i nord-sydlig riktning.
Gällaryds socken omnämndes i skrift för fösta gången 1290.
Vid Gustav Vasas registratur 1543 bestod kyrkbyn av fyra hemman, varav två skatte- och två kyrkohemman.
I Gällaryd finns idag: en kyrka, en skola, en förskola, fler hus och en lekplats. Vid lekplatsen finns en gammal damm. Från den dammen går ett vattendrag genom hela Gällaryd som bildar sankområden på olika platser i byn.
Det bor knappt 100 personer i Gällaryd idag.
Gällaryd is a village that is located on a ridge that runs in a north-south direction.
Gällaryds parish was mentioned in writing, for the first time, in 1290.
At the time of Gustav Vasas registry in 1543, the village consisted of four homes of which two were obliged to pay taxes and two belonged to the church.
Today, there is a church, a school, a preschool, several houses and a playground. By the playground there is an old pond. From that pond, a stream runs through the whole village which, in some areas, forms small swamps.
There are about 100 people that lives in Gällaryd today.
