*** The Cranfield Dirty Dozen ***
As at 12/11/23 this series had 76 Favourite Points
Well after the placing of our other two series I said we'd only do another set if we got to 100 Favourite Points on those - well as of 15/06/21 we have 121 so I guess we'd better place it then!
This is a series of 12 caches (not surprisingly!) of different sizes and different levels of difficulty and the hints are hints not answers! However, as the name suggests, some of these are difficult - you have been warned!
If you do need more of a hint then go here - Further Help
It is a looped walk of about 3.5 miles in some lovely countryside with some lovely views, there is even a couple of little benches about halfway for your picnic! We do cross some farm fields, all arable when set, and the path can be muddy when wet in a few places. Walking boots are recommended.
You WILL need a pair of tweezers and you WILL need to bring your own writing implement. A lot of the logs are very small (although their disguise may not be) so please sign small and, if the log is full, please feel at will to replace them - in fact, we'd be very glad if you do!
Please be gentle with the caches and leave them hidden well so others can enjoy them too, thanks. PLEASE do not leave throwdowns.
There is street parking available in Cranfield not far from the first cache, please park responsibly, please see the Waypoint. It could be done by mountain bike but I'm afraid there is no disabled access.
From the parking on Lodge Road follow down the small road rather than into the estate on Thillans.
