This a straightforward series which was published for the 2021 UK Mega, held at the nearby Lincolnshire Showground. The series celebrates the many famous people who were either born in, lived in or associated with the glorious county of Lincolnshire!

Colin Dexter, crime author
Norman Colin Dexter OBE (29th September 1930 – 21st March 2017) was an English crime writer known for his Inspector Morse series of novels, which were written between 1975 and 1999 and adapted as an ITV television series, Inspector Morse, from 1987 to 2000. His characters spawned a sequel series, Lewis, and a prequel series, Endeavour.
Dexter was born in Stamford. His father ran a small garage and taxi company from premises in Scotgate, Stamford. He was educated at St. John's Infants School, Bluecoat Junior School, from which he gained a scholarship to Stamford School, where one of his contemporaries was the England international cricket captain and England international rugby player M. J. K. Smith.
