'The Little Red School House is located at the intersection of Platt Hill and Taylor Brook roads in Winchester center. the schoolhouse was built in 1815 as one of several one-room district schools in Winchester. It is the only surviving schoolhouse in Winchester that preserves its original character, as the building has not been converted to a new use or moved from its original site.
