Woodstock Park Improvement Project Adventure Lab

After two years of construction, the Woodstock Park Improvement Project is completed! The park and new skatepark was reopened to the public following a short ceremony on June 16. The project has brought a wealth of improvements to the heavily utilized community park, including upgraded amenities and a 5.2-million-gallon wet weather offline storage tank that provides the base for the brand-new, 30,000 square foot skatepark facility while also helping to reduce sanitary sewer overflows. Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation has partnered with HRSD to deliver a groundbreaking project for a multi-use facility that serves our community's needs, regional infrastructure demands, and cost-sharing on park renovations that will save taxpayer dollars. Not only are residents getting a fantastic new skatepark and gorgeous park improvements, they’re also getting a piece of infrastructure that while hidden below the park, will have a significant, positive environmental impact.

I've posted coords to a bridge that will take you an old trail that will get you most of the way to the Geocache. A short Bushwack of about 20 yards is required once you get close.

Cache is a large, camouflaged ammo can, marked as a Geocaching Game Piece.

Lots of bug repellent is recommended! When the cache was placed on June 17th, there was a very large population of mosquitos!

Please cover cache completely with leaves as the last container was taken by muggles.
