Geocache Description:

Not at posted coordinates!  Be sure to check the logbook for the bonus codes!

The B-52 is more than a defenseless bomb carrier—it had guns!  All models from B-G had a quad-pack of .50-caliber machines guns, while the Hs received the 20mm gatling cannon.  While rare, BUFF gunners did shoot down enemy fighters.

On Day 1 of Linebacker II, SSgt. Samuel Turner, tail gunner on Brown 03, shot down a MiG-21, the first in B-52 combat history.

On Dec. 24, the seventh day of the Linebacker II campaign, A1C Albert Moore, a gunner on Ruby 03, shot down a MiG, the final confirmed B-52 gunner kill ever recorded.
