Mr. Keith McLean passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the age of 90. He had donated his lands near Rondeau Bay to the SCRCA. On June 27, 2013 the area was officially opened to the public. The total property is 130 ha and consists of gardens, ponds, wetlands, farmlands and woodlots. The donation was made with the understanding that "this is a place where the public should always feel warmly welcome".
It seems appropriate to place a cache to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the official opening of this amazing place.
