Geocache Description:

One of the oldest settlements in Illinois named for a chain of rocks stretching six miles along the Ohio River. This chain presented navigational dangers to river traffic. Whether you refer to it as it's official name New Grand Chain, or simply Grand Chain, the point is this small little village has been around. This little town is also the birthplace of the inventor of DipnDots, Curt Jones!

The geocache is a smaller Tupperware craft storage BYOP, placed with permission, and please no night caching, happy caching!
