This cache has been placed in trbute to a cacher who very recntly turned 70. This individual comprises half of the LFCEL Caching Duo. If you happen to see this "OLD" Bird around when you find the cache, make sure you say HI. The host is one in which the team of LFCEL hate, so hope they won't be too unhappy. Happy Caching everyone!!
An ODE for the individual:
There once was a Geocacher named Lyle
Who travelled many a mile.
The goal in his mind
Was to be the ‘first to find’
So he turned over every rock in the pile.
He usually had a smile
That resembled Gomer Pyle.
But when the cache wasn’t there;
He thought it was unfair
And would mutter and swear for awhile.
But determined was Lyle
And back he would file
To check out Ground Zero
And become the caching hero
And walk away from the site in style.
So with his chest full of pride and guile
His GPS he would re-dial.
It is on to the next!
He would not be perplexed!
And his co-ordinates he would reconcile.
Lyle’s caching tricks are versatile
And he never becomes hostile
Whether it’s a tiny micro in a tree
Or a camo’d holder for a key . . .
