Blanche and Oakes Ames Built the mansion in 1910. One of the most memorable places in the mansion is the 6000 volumne library. Oakes had an extensive botanical library, which later was moved to other institutions. There are many other geocaches here in the park, you might want to make it a day. If you go to the back of the mansion you can peek into the library windows. There is a parking fee, although you could make this one a park and grab.
