About the film:
THE GREEN HORNET, made in 2011, follows the somewhat comic adventures of Britt Reid, a aimless, rich playboy (played by Seth Rogen) who is forced to take over his father's newspaper business upon the news of his death. After seeing the state of the city's crime situation for the first time in his new position, he then decides to improve the city by becoming the masked crimefighter "The Green Hornet". Joined by his late father's talented mechanic and kung fu master Kato they focus on bringing down the city's biggest threat, a crime kingpin named Chudnofsky (played with evil relish by Christoph Waltz). Cameron Diaz plays the love interest. Based on an early radio series and the 1966 TV series featuring Van Williams as Britt and the amazing Bruce Lee as Kato. Interesting note:The original TV series theme song was played by popular trumpeter Al Hirt and the piece of music is actually called "The Flight of the Bumblebee"
