Ducks on the Pond
Koondaii weir is one option for water supply for the township of Bell. In recent years with the prolonged drought and lack of water runoff when I does rain the weir has not been able to fill. Other options for water supply is through underground streams accessed at different points through bores.
When there is water in the weir it is home to many species of bird life and other critters.
While the access to the parking way point is gravel and is wet weather friendly the walk from parking to cache is black soil, so in wet weather taking a grassy track to ground zero is advisable.
