CITO @ The Bash Cache In Trash Out® Event

Kick off your 2021 Cache Bash weekend by giving back to the community who is hosting their 13th Annual Geocaching Mega Event! This event will be rain or shine, and in knowing that many begin lining up at Regner well before the noon check in, we thought to host this CITO early enough to not impose on other activities going on same day.

• Location: Ziegler Park, West Bend WI
• Date and Time: Friday, August 13th 2021 8-9am local CST
  • 8am CST: Please gather at the posted coords to sign the log and retreive your trashbag. Once complete you are free to roam Ziegler as well as the Eisenbahn Trail, which runs to the east of the park beyond the treeline.
  • 8:50 CST: Please gather back at our meeting location to snap a group photo with the collected trash, before we dispose of it in the nearby bins. 
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive after the group has dispursed simply sign in, grab a trashbag, and meet us out in the field! 
• Parking: Streetside along Terrace Drive
• What will be provided: A trashbag and hand sanitizer for all. We will also bring a small selection of snacks and a case of water to be handed out first come first serve. Please plan to eat prior and bring a drink if needed, as the head count on this event is at 100+ and there of course won't be enough for everyone.
• What to bring: Something to pick up the trash (grabbers, gloves etc), bugspray, sunscreen, and water.
• Park Rules: While we will be there from 8-9am local CST, the park is open from 7a-11pm. Dogs are allowed on the Eisenbahn Trail while leashed, but are not allowed in city parks such as Zieglar.
