The Stanley Trail
Big prairie skyscapes, shale cliffs, wild flowers, abundant wildlife, open grassland, rich agricultural lands, rolling hills, wandering creek crossings, oak stands, poplar bush and dramatic views of the Red River Valley all promise to delight trail users. The most technically challenging and scenic sections are where the trail follows the wooded creeks along the Pembina escarpment.
The Stanley Trail is that portion of the Trans Canada or Great Trail connected through the RM of Stanley. The main trail also has spur trails and loops that are connected or in the proximity of the main trail. This part of the Trans Canada Trail is the Dead Horse Stanley Trail. Caches are hidden just beside or off the trail so they are not readily seen by trail users.
A popular trail used by many to bike and hike that is located close to Lake Minnewasta.

THE CHALLENGE:
YOU MUST HAVE FOUND 100 CACHES IN 2 DIFFERENT PROVINCES OR STATES.
The Rules
* You must sign the logbook of the cache container hidden at the posted coordinates AND meet the requirements of the challenge in order to log this as a find
* You are welcome to find the cache before completing all of the requirements. If you do, please just sign the log and post a note on the cache page. Then, after you have completed the challenge, you can come back and log it as a find.
* You can only claim a find after you have found and signed the log
* Logged finds that do not qualify will be deleted.
The Cache
Cache is a camo'd preform.
The difficulty is based on the challenge for Manitoba Cachers.
The Terrain is based on the hide. The length of the hike and the height that the cache is hidden.
The Documentation
In order to validate your qualifications, please do one of the following and provide the information in your log on the cache page,
- create a bookmark list and provide the link, OR,
- type a list of the caches you have found with the required attribute.
