This cache is a bonus cache for one segment of the California Highway 1 Adventure series: CA Highway 1 Adventure: Ximeno - San Gabriel River.
The entire Adventure series runs the length of California Highway 1 from Mendocino County to Orange County. This particular segment of California Highway 1 traverses the southernmost 3.2 miles of Los Angeles County, completely within the City of Long Beach. The 10 waypoints can be visited north-to-south or south-to-north with a minimum of backtracking. All of the waypoints are within a quarter mile of California Highway 1. The Adventure itself can be completed in approximately 1 hour, while driving 8-10 miles.
Per the guidelines of the Highway 1 Adventure series, the coordinates for this bonus cache will be revealed at one of the waypoints that is within two miles of the bonus location. The bonus location is available 24/7, although it is possible that one or two of the waypoints in the Adventure may not be.
