Geocache Description:

The Stump is a print of a painting by Appalachian artist Ben Hampton that we have had for about forty years. It was a gift from Jeff's grandmother and we have always cherished it. It has a soft, misty grayed color palette, and if you look closely, there is a little bunny hiding at the base of the stump. While out walking through the woods on a muggy, misty humid day (what were we thinking?) we were reminded of this painting and wanted to hide a cache in honor of this artist.

Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, this area could be a little wet and mucky.

Please park in the Captain Daniel Wright Woods Forest Preserve lot. Do not park on nearby streets. Please replace cache exactly as found.

Hope you enjoy the find!

Congrats to Toolrep1 on the FTF!
