The 'Gadgets of Marion County' geocaching trail is designed to bring you to the most unique places the county has to offer all while challenging you to complete tasks, solve puzzles, or otherwise engage with unique gadgets. About This Location. 

Welcome to another locally owned business, the only mead distillery in the county! Here you can find eight meads made using only West Virginia honey and other premium all-natural ingredients from the state such as roses, wildflowers, and berries. With over 30 hives in Catawba, right here in Marion County’s own back yard, owners Tom and Ruthann bring it straight from the comb to your glass (with a little fermenting in between). Basic mead is made of honey, water, and yeast. Dating back to almost 7000 B.C., mead has held an important place in a variety of cultures, especially our own.

About This Cache.

This cache is located on the storefront of the store, you'll know it when you see it. Parking is limited so please use caution and be considerate of other patrons in the area. We ask you to limit your visit to daylight hours only, as this is a business cache.

You'll need to solve the small field puzzle in order to be able to unlock the container and access the logbook, similar to a lot of caches on this tour. This cache should be a quick and easy find full of swag for kids!
