01. Trent and Mersey Canal, Bartington Loop
My second loop of caches along and around the Trent and Mersey Canal, here, there are 25 caches over 5 miles This one starts near the Leigh Arms pub in Bartington, where there is plenty of parking, so please dont use the pub carpark unless you intend to use the pub as well.
The loop mostly follows the towpaths which can get very muddy and/or overgrown at times, some caches may be very tricky to reach in the summer when the weeds are high.
Please take care when caching near the water, none of the caches require you to get wet. Some are more difficult to find and/or get to than others, please only attempt if you feel comfortable doing so.
A standard caching toolkit will suffice for this series, i.e. pen, torch, tweezers, long arms etc.
