This cache is not at the listed coordinates. Yes, it is on the Platte Mound, but please do not go bushwhacking to these coordinates.
You must complete the "The Big M" Adventure Lab caches to get the final coordinates. That means you'll have to be able to go up over 280 steps.
Once you receive the coordinates, it would be acceptable to turn on "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin for your easy hike. Hopefully you'll have the cache in hand before the last lyric.
You'll stay on the trail mostly, until the coordinates want you to take a 90 degree turn off the trail.
The Platte Mound remains under the ownership of the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System, and permission was received by the UW-Platteville Facilities Management office to place the cache.
