CHOMP!! Traditional Cache

GO SHARKS! A cache near the Shark Tank and Diridon Station.

Location is by the Arena Green area of Guadalupe River Park. Bring a writing stick. There is no room for swag or trackables in this cache. Ditto's Downtown TB and Swag Hotel (GC4XT17) is about 1.3 miles away to the east, and is a great spot for trackable exchange.

Cache is a nano container hidden in a logical spot. GZ is very open, and stealth will be required at certain times as arena events draw muggle traffic.

If you are caching after dark, be aware there are rough sleepers in the park and vicinity. The city will try to shoo them away every few months but they come back. The original location of CHOMP! became unsuitable because of a fairly established campsite.

There is easy access by bicycle or foot from the Guadalupe River Trail. There are several VTA bus lines stopping nearby along Santa Clara St. and Diridon Station. Free parking is available nearby on Autumn Street (except when blocked for arena events). Metered parking is available along St John Street a few blocks away under the Route 87 overpass, just past Henry's. Difficulty is two because of the cache style and the need for stealth. Please re-hide carefully.
