Geocache Description:

Village Hall, Willingham

In the 1880s a new vicar arrived newly married at St, Helen's, his wife was Caroline Reynard (nee Ashton, a mill owners daughter from Cheshire) sadly after a few short years the vicar died and his widow remained in the village and dedicated her life to doing good deeds. She paid for the building of the Reynard Hospital on Marton Road (now a nursing home) and also re-built the church. After she died the villagers raised the funds to build the hall in her memory.
