Geocache Description:

This cache is here to mark Struell Wells as a place however please do not leave a mark or trace when you come here as this is in important historical site.

Struell Wells originally had pre Christian origins with the Druids and midsummer bathing but when St Patrick came here he famously blessed and converted the well and from there on it became known as a primarily Christian site. There will be another traditional cache with more information.

Please note that the cache is not within the site

The site is maintained by Northern Ireland Environment Agency and is used by many for religious pilgrimage so please be respectful and remember to leave no trace.
