A little traditional place to go with the New Year's Day 2021 Brunch event by Loch Cache.
(You do not need to come to the event to find this cache.)
The Park
This park use to have a multi cache of mine called Rings of Rahanis. The park has a dog park, tennis courts, soccer fields and a nice playground. This cache is located just beyond the western edge of the soccer fields.
The Cache
The cache is a small, well concealed box in an area close to but separated from the soccer fields. To get to the cache without climbing over a fence, forging a very muddy stream or bushwhacking through thick brush you should use the gate/gap in the fencing about 130 feet from the cache along the western edge of the soccer field. (See trailhead coords.)
The gate leads to a path behind the fence that can get quite muddy if it has been raining. Near the cache location is a little clearing and a very muddy creek. Beware and pay heed to the warning sign about "deep mud". You do not have to go into the stream to get this cache. It is somewhere in between the fence and the creek.
