This cache is being placed in association with the NoVA Chapter of the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC) event held nearby each month. If you haven't found the others in the series, they are all fairly close by so I hope you have time to check them out.
This is a simple cache and it should be a quick find for all geocachers. This is pretty much a Park & Grab, but you'll have to figure out how to get to the log.
To access the log, you will need to know the date of "D-Day", a famous day in American (and world) history. The four digit numerical code for the lock is ABCD.
A = Month
B = Day
CD = last two digits of the year
You will need your own writing instrument. Please feel free to add SWAG or trackables. There's plenty of room. Parking is available in a parking lot very close to GZ. Be stealthy and alert because it is close to some business offices and residences. It is up a short slope and a few steps into the tree line, so you might encounter poisonous plants, ticks, etc. It is available 24/7, but I recommend searching during daylight hours only. The original container was broken into and destroyed so please conceal the container as well as you can to protect it from muggles.
