St Germans is a pretty little village with much history having been owned by Eliot family since the 1500’s. Elliot Hall was built as memorial to the Earl's eldest son in 1911 to replace the old town hall.

The hall is an essential venue for the village, as is the Masonic lodge next door.

Also worth looking at are old Alms Houses as you approach the village from the west, and the nearby Church.
