This cache is part of an occasional series about Women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The cache is not located at the posted coordinates, though you might consider going there to gather information.
This cache was inspired by a curriculum that nessker is using with elementary school students to teach about inventors (thanks, nessker!). Although the puzzle itself is not part of the elementary school curriculum, several of the women in the puzzle were included in the curriculum.

Please make these small adjustments (thanks to early solvers for identifying them!): for 142A use the last letter of the name (not the first letter as the clue lists); clue E the last name should have six letters (not five); clue V should refer to hydyne (not hydine); 177 is located in R not B.
