Ein Eshkaf is a quaint spring hidden under an Ela tree and some vines. In the winter the water is crystal clear. In summer it's a bit murky and full of a lot of living creatures. We went in in both seasons. In winter it's so cold it hurts but in the summer it is amazingly refreshing. On your way to this spring you will come upon Ein Eran. It's deeper, greener and more known. Continue on the small worn path to get to Ein Eshkaf. It's nice to bring a trash bag because unfortunately people leave behind a lot of trash. Ein Eshkaf is very relaxing and a perfect place to whip out a pakal cafe (coffee kit).
When we placed this cache it was already our second stop so we forgot to add waypoints (we were starting to get tired). I recommend using Waze to Ein Eshkaf - עין אשקף. You will see that the sign to the spring says 4*4. We drove with our little car until we couldn't anymore. We parked and continued on foot for about 300 meters. If you feel like working hard and sweating, you can park at the power station and climb up the hill. We did that in winter and it was very satisfying...I wouldn't recommend it in summer.
