Snowy south is a mountain peak in the southern highlands of Tasmania. It is east of Lake Peddler, north of the Huon River, and around 56km west of Hobart if you had crows wings. Roads do not venture here, I suspect you would need a good pair of hiking shoes and some hearty advice from Mr Mawson to experience this area. Please send me a picture when you get there. Rumour has it, it might look like this (see image in gallery).
