Gamer's Power Trail
I've been hiding and finding geocaches since 2006, and yet, this week, I realized there's a glaring hole in my geocaching repertoire. Yes, I've found numerous Power Trails -- easy caches lined up in a row to run up the numbers -- but I have never HIDDEN one! Since it's only fair to give back a power trail to this wonderful geocaching community....
Preeeeeesenting Gamer's Power Trail!!
Bike or drive along Palm Drive / SW 344 Street and grab 10 guard rail hides along the way! When Mrs. Gamer, JakeTheCachingDog and I hid it, we parked the GamerMobile on the grassy swale at the parking coordinates (see "additional waypoints" below) and then biked along the canal as we hid the caches, getting to see leaping fish, lizards, a couple of gators and something in the water...probably some weeeeeird-looking tortoise...that looked like a pumpkin with legs! For the entire journey, maybe 5 cars passed us by...this road seems to be very sparsely trafficked. If you choose to drive the trail by motor vehicle instead, there are numerous stopping points along the south side of the road along the swale.
Have fun...be safe...and CACHE ON!!
