I knew about bflentje pretty early when I started caching. Living in Rosemount will do that -- he has some pretty memorable caches in the area, especially in Whitetail Woods! The ATM was one of my all-time favorite caches.
I met him at the 2019 MnGCA GEO-RAMA. I met a lot of cachers there that I had only read logs from. It wasn't until we ran into each other at a FTF hunt. We got to talking and found that we had a bit in common, so we made plans to go caching in Wisconsin not too long afterwards to really get to know each other. And while I found that we had very differing viewpoints on some things, we had plenty in common.
We've done a lot together since. I was there when he finished up the State Park program for the XXth time. We ventured into Canada together for my first time to Manitoba. He drove all the way to Sioux Falls and woke up early to celebrate my 50th birthday with donuts. He was there to witness the completion of my first two Fizzys. He's pushed me to do things I never figured I would. He's a great asset and a friend. Sure, we've had our differences. But that's to be expected.
So it is my great honor to congratulate bflentje on finding 20,000 geocaches! And looking at his stats, you can see he hasn't taken the easy road to get there -- he enjoys the high difficulty/high terrain caches! Congrats Bart! Here's to your next 20,000!

Bflentje likes short and sweet multicaches. I could have made this a two-stage multicache, but figured I'd add a couple additional stages to guide you better to the final cache.
At the posted coordinates, you will find a good place to park, plus a brown sign. This sign will provide information to get you to the next two stages.
Stage two is an opening in the woods -- continue through it to get yourself to stage three.
STAGE TWO: N 44 40.AAA W 093 04.DEF
STAGE THREE: N 44 40.GHI W 093 04.JKL
AAA: Date in August mentioned (plus 744)
D: Letters in the first word on the sign.
E: Date in March mentioned (plus 4).
F: Number of mentions of the name "Bart" on the sign.
G: The bullet point number that mentions "decoys".
H: Number of letters of the animal mentioned at the bottom of the sign.
I: Number of letters in the last word in the bordered portion.
J: Number of bulletpoints on the brown sign.
K: The number of arrows on the bottom right.
L: The placement in the alphabet (A=1, B=2, etc.) of the first letter of the very last line at the bottom of the brown sign.
At stage three, you will find a signpost. This will provide information to the final stage.
FINAL STAGE: N 44 40.PPP W 093 05.QQQ
PPP: Number of letters in the 8th word on the gold sign (multiplied by 129).
QQQ: Number of words on the white sign (multiplied by 2)
