๑๒ โรงแรม (#12, rongræm, hotels)
This is a simple drive-in cache along 33 on the way to Cambodia. It is "a typical Thai style container" (see the spoiler, if you need it for a difficulty 1 cache). The place of of the geocache as such is not interesting but there are hotels in the area, a large and beautiful park, and a temple.
The town itself, Aranyaprathet (อรัญประเทศ), covers also the entire tambon (district). It has around 16 000 inhabitants and its life draws on its being the border town with Cambodia.
There are also some interesting waymarks, some of them we hope to visit/add during our next maintenance. For instance, Clock Tower (WM92Y3) in the category of "Town Clocks" category of course also in the category of "Buddhist Temples and Public Shrines" (WM93E9)
