Who is Signalman? He is a another minor antagonists of Batman. His origin is typical. One day while looking up at the Bat-Signal, small time crook Phil Cobb was inspired to become Signalman. Dressed in red & yellow, he uses signals, signs, and other symbols to commit themed crimes, only to inevitably defeated by Batman and Robin, time and again.
One night Signalman was hanging out at a local Manassas watering hole with his Secret Society of Super Villains friends ( a bunch of other second tier DC Comics villains). They were all discussing MJBinski's "Name That Tune" cache series, and Signalman mentioned that the Macarena would make a perfect addition to these wherigos. Zebra Man laughed aloud and yelled "You don't even know how that dance goes!"
Angrily Signalman replied "Yes I do."
"Hey Zebra..." said the Eraser "Do you remember we were all doing the Macarena on Hawaiian Punch Night a few months back and Signal Man kept messing up the moves?"
The room erupted in laughter.
Signalman wasted no time. He stood up and announced "Alexa... Play the Macarena!" He then rushed on to the dance floor and started to perform this puzzling dance (click it to enlarge):
Again, the room erupted in laughter. The immense pride that was on Signalman's face quickly turned to confusion. Feeling hurt, he asked his fellow Secret Society of Super Villain friends "What?"
Awesnap himself is also a fool. He misspelled "Macarena" twice in the art for this cache page. When asked about it he replied "I didn't feel like paying the Eraser to fix it."
