Recently I watched a pretty interesting Halemeister video on YouTube. One thing led to another and here we are!
This cache is NOT located at the posted coordinates; don't go there. You have to figure out the location on your own by downloading and playing the Wherigo cartridge. This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search from any spot in the world using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache.
The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- and is available to download
>>> HERE <<<
There are many in the world and I wanted to bring one here. This is a copy cat (I stole most of the language here from GC9CFMW in Ohio), but -Waldmeister-'s The first Reverse Cache [WIG] is the original cache in this family. If you want to learn more about the math check out GC3RVE3 also in Ohio.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual. To begin, select 'Play' then type this code into your player:
851353
410501
318948
Once you zero in on a spot close to the final, you can try to find it yourself without any more queries. If you make a query within 25 yards, you will receive the actual coordinates and can follow your GPS from there. After you make the find, feel free to post the output stats (number of queries, etc.) from your search with your find log. There is a "completion code" for this cartridge but it is not needed for anything here.
Final coords will bring you to an interesting location. The cache container is approx 50' to the SE in the pine tree, please replace as found (updated 1/24/22).
Original LARGE size ammo can was a gift to me from my daughter for Father's Day but has since disappeared. Still plenty of room for swag. Log and writing utencil inside. FTF prize is an unactivated Wonders trackable. Note that there are security cameras here but have no fear...it is placed on private/business property WITH PERMISSION. Please be respectful and attempt during daylight hours only. I had fun learning about this and figuring out how to do one. Hope you enjoy!
If you want to create your own Reverse Wherigo, you can do so using the unique passcode you receive at the end of the game. Simply choose "create" rather than "play" when starting the Reverse Wherigo and enter your passcode at that point and just follow the instructions. You will need to be at the final location for your hide, with a good signal on your device. The cartridge will then give you the exact coordinates (which you'll need when creating the geocache online) and the three six-digit numbers that identify that location in the cartridge. Write these down, hide your container and create your very own Reverse Wherigo! Just be sure to notify -Waldmeister- as a courtesy (no advance permission needed).
