Geocache Description:

THE INTERURBAN CROSSROADS

The starting point of the multicache brings you to an important intersection of two of King County's major trail systems; the Interurban Trail and the Green River Trail. If you are an avid biker, you will be very familiar with both of these trails. As a geocacher, you likely are pretty familiar with these trails as there are MANY geocaches along these trails. If you havent explored these trails, you really should. From a biking standpoint, both trails are pretty flat so peddling down them should be pretty easily. Unlike the Burke-Gilman trail, the Interurban and Green River trails do not have the massive amounts of foot and bike traffic like the Burke-Gilman has which makes using these trails a lot more enjoyable, especially if you are a bike rider.

To find this cache, simply visit the kiosk at the listed coordinates and answer the questions laid out below:

NORTH QUESTIONS (Look at the east facing panel of the kiosk with "Regional Trails" map on it. Look at the upper left insert pertaining to the Interurban Trail and answer following questions):

Under the "highlights" section, the trail connects with the Green River Trail in Tukwila and Kent forming a ## mile recreational loop. What is the second digit of the number of miles the loop is? (Make that your  answer for "A".

Under the section called "Length", how many miles is the length of the trail?  Make the second digit the answer to "B".

Staying with the "Length" section, how many cities are mentioned being linked by the trail? Take that answer, subtract 2 and make that answer for "C".

ABC = last three digits of the North coordinates

WEST QUESTIONS (Keeping with the "Regional Trails" map, look at the Green River Trail insert in the upper right portion of the map to answer the following questions):

Under the "Surface and Grade" section, this section mentions a road in Kent. How many letters in the name of the road? Take that answer, add 1 and make that the answer for "D".

Looking at the section called "Length". The Green River Trail is ## miles long. What is the second digit of the miles, subtract 1. Make that your answer to "E".

Under the "Access" section, this section mentions several parks that have access to the trail. How many parks are mentioned?  subtract  5 from that number and make that your answer to "F".

DEF = the last three digits of the West coordinates.

Assume that the rest of the coordinates are the same as the listed coordinates for this cache.

North checksum = 36  West checksum = 26

Good luck!
