This cache is available upon completion of the Codman Explorations Adventure Lab.
This is a wonderful, less traveled trail in the Bergen-Culver trail system near South Lincoln.
You can think of this tree as a cousin to another frightful arboreal in Lincoln, the Witch Tree. However, there's a lot of animals and bugs doing their thing inside of the tree, so let's leave them undisturbed. The cache is a pill bottle tucked in the stone wall a few feet away.
It has a few very small child-friendly trinkets to exchange.
The nearest parking at the school lot on Ballfield Road. There is a major construction project right now and access feels a bit tricky from there. The next closest parking will be at the end of Woods End road, or the MBTA commuter lot. There is no parking on Mackintosh Lane.
This cache is about a 1 mile walk from the Codman House. Doing both the Adventure Lab and the cache in one would take a couple of hours.
