Scoville Reservoir is a wonderful place to paddle and now I've replaced a lot of the old caches with new hides to refresh your need to paddle and geocache! As always paddle caches require you to be responsible for your safety. I can remind you to bring / wear your life jacket, bring water for drinking (it can get hot on the water), sunscreen, a pen to log the caches with, and the common sense to be weather aware before embarking on this journey. If you are a fisherman, there are some nice size fish in this water willing to test your abilities too!.
On July 23, 2021 Mathadams is hosting a flotilla here, and we would love to have you join us for a group paddle. I did think about holding off on having these published until that day but not everyone will be able to make it and I hate to keep anyone away until then if there is nice paddling weather. This event has been submitted but at this time not yet published. Hope to see you there!
Regardless when you go, please enjoy yourself! There is also a hiking trail around the reservoir with caches to interest the landlubbers.
