Who'll walk me down to the cache
when it's twenty years of age...
My most humble and sincere apologies to Sir Elton John
Once upon a distant time, a cacher named dan.west placed The Sugar Loaf Island Cache reasonably near (about 70 feet) to our meeting location. That was 20 years ago. Exactly! Today (well, day of the event, 1 Sep 2021). Just two weeks or so after that other one on the island....
I've met a couple of Central Arkansas cachers, but would love to meet more. Maybe they could explain to me why there are two (that's right, 2) Sugar Loaf Mountains within 35 miles of each other by road (or just under 16, if you happen to be a crow).
So, come join me to celebrate the anniversary. Those who come late (schedule for 6:30pm to 8:00) will not get Cookies or Anniversary cake. Of course, those who come early or on time will also not get Cookies or Anniversary cake. All will have the opportunity to sign a log book, which I will personally be carrying. You'll know me, as I'm the guy carrying a log book. Then we can all paddle back in the dark
After replacing The Sugar Loaf Island Cache yesterday, I decided there was no reason for me to take my old bones up those stairs yet another time, so I've moved the location down. I'm inferring the coordinates, but they should be at the Eagle Project Plaque
Hope to see you there...
