Harvest Moon Trail - M17
The 110 km Harvest Moon Trailway traverses the Annapolis Valley through beautiful towns along the former DAR rail line connecting the UNESCO world Heritage Sites of Grand Pre; and the National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal.

On September 21, 2013 Vernon Smith , the builder, engineer, and first general manager of the Windsor and Annapolis Railway was immortalized in a bronze statue situated in the Waterfront Park in Wolfville. The statue is the work of Ruth Abenethy, a noted Canadian sculptor.
