Geocache Description:

Acrocanthosaurus (/ˌækroʊˌkænθəˈsɔːrəs/ ak-ro-KAN-thə-SAWR-əs; meaning "high-spined lizard") is a genus of carcharodontosaurid dinosaur that existed in what is now North America during the Aptian and early Albian stages of the Early Cretaceous. Like most dinosaur genera, Acrocanthosaurus contains only a single species, A. atokensis. Its fossil remains are found mainly in the U.S. states of OklahomaTexas, and Wyoming, although teeth attributed to Acrocanthosaurus have been found as far east as Maryland, suggesting a continent wide range.

Information from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acrocanthosaurus

The Acrocanthosaurus cast fossil housed here was the most complete of any ever found and was discovered right here in McCurtain County. It provided paleontologists with new information of the predator.

The container is a small pillbottle with a logbook, bring your own pen and some stealth may be needed.
