Geocache Description:

This started as a series of 25 caches will take you to various spots Rhubarb and I enjoyed throughout a day on the Merry Creek FSR., June/2017.  The day was gorgeous, (not too hot) and the horizon held mountain tops with snow still on them. The various colors of the assorted wild flowers were just being revealed by Mother Nature. Most caches are just off the road and is very well protected from weather. Each cache has a convenient pullout to park your vehicle nearby. I advise to use vehicles with lots of clearance. My Escape did a fine job. As always, bring TOTT. There are no writing instruments in caches.

Since then, I have seen possibilities for many, many more caches. Rhubarb and I plan to mark a trail to the Merry Creek FSR and Halsey Rd. Connector and beyond.  Some caches are red herrings however, each one found guarantees a smiley.

There are diverse rock outcroppings all along this road - each different than the last.  Some are fractured diagonally, some horizontally, some are large fractures and others are much smaller.
