Geocache Description:

One of the unique features of this particular park is the sand dunes.  The management document for the park describes one of the unique features as a "glacial sand dune complex and wintering area for trumpeter swans."  You can find the management plan on the BC Provincial Parks website for management plan documentation at https://bcparks.ca/planning/mgmtplns/crooked/crooked_ps.html.

As you walk the backroads of Bear Lake, enjoy the wealth of sand everywhere underneath the vegetation and still breaking through in some locations, such as this mini ridge of sand, like a small dune.  The cache is hanging in a tree, of course, on top of the dune.
