Hier wollten wir schon lange eine Dose verstecken, da man hier nicht nur neben einem antiken Bauernhof ist, und es hier wirklich idyllisch ist, sondern weil man auch einer der schönsten Blicke auf der kompletten Langkofelgruppe hat. In jeder Tageszeit und Wolkenformation ist die Lichteinwirkung anders und man bekommt die Langkofelgruppe immer anders in Betracht. Um so öfters man dies sieht desto schöner kommt es einem vor. Es ist einfach ein magischer Ort, und deshalb muss ich Euch dieses Örtchen zeigen.
Der alte Bauerhof Peza
Der alte Bauernhof Peza ist ein Denkmal, das uns die Geschichte auf einer Wiese mitten im Wald hinterlassen hat; es liegt auf einer herrlichen Lichtung auf 1600 m Höhe, in der Nähe des Dorfes St. Jakob, oberhalb von St. Ulrich im Grödnertal. Das Gebäude stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, wie wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen und ein Dokument aus dem Jahr 1277 belegen, in dem es erwähnt wird. Damit ist der Hof ein Symbol der historischen und kulturellen Identität des Grödnertales, ein Zeugnis von Traditionen, wie viele andere seit dem Mittelalter im Tal entstandene und schützenswerte Höfe. Es ist mit Materialien aus der Umgebung in essentiellen Formen gebaut. Der Bau ist romanisch-gotisch, ein typisches Beispiel für den Einzelhof; eine Form der ländlichen Siedlung, die in mehreren Gebäuden organisiert ist, eines aus Stein und Holz, das dem Haus gewidmet ist und in unmittelbarer Nähe das Holzhaus, das den Stall und den Hühnerstall im Untergeschoss auf dem Hof beherbergte, die Scheune im Obergeschoss. Der Komplex wurde von zwei Familien bewohnt, ein Teil befindet sich noch heute in Privatbesitz, während die Gemeinde von St. Ulrich die andere Hälfte im Jahr 2006 kaufte, um den Verfall zu vermeiden und die Bedeutung der Erhaltung dieses Erbes hervorzuheben. Dieser Mission verpflichtet sich auch das Museum Gröden in St. Ulrich mit Publikationen, Ausstellungen und Führungen.

Da tempo che volevamo nascondere un cache in questo luogo. Non solo ci troviamo vicini ad un antico maso e in un posto veramente magico, ma anche perché si ha uno dei panorami più belli dell'intero gruppo del Sassolungo. Ogni ora del giorno la vista sul massiccio si manifesta differentemente con le tante esposizioni di luce e nuvole che si spostano. Più spesso lo si guarda periodicamente e più rimane impresso. È un posto troppo magico e sarebbe un peccato non mostrarvelo.
L'antico maso Peza
L'antico maso Peza, è un monumento che la storia ci ha lasciato in un prato in mezzo al bosco; si trova in una splendida radura a 1600 m.di altitudine, nelle vicinanze del borgo di San Giacomo, sopra Ortisei, in Val Gardena. La costruzione risale al XIII secolo, come testimoniano le indagini scientifiche e un documento del 1277 che lo cita. E' dunque un simbolo di identità storica e culturale della Val Gardena, testimone delle tradizioni, come molti altri masi sorti nella Valle dal Medioevo in poi che meritano di essere tutelati. E' edificato con materiali reperiti nel territorio circostante, in forme essenziali. La costruzione è romanico-gotica, tipico esempio di Einzelhof: una forma di insediamento rurale organizzata a edifici multipli, uno in pietra e legno dedicato all'abitazione e nelle immediate vicinanze il rustico in legno che ospitava la stalla e il pollaio al piano inferiore e il fienile al piano superiore. Il complesso era abitato da due nuclei familiari, ancora oggi una parte è proprietà privata, mentre il Comune di Ortisei nel 2006 acquistò l'altra metà, evitandone il decadimento ed evidenziando l'importanza della conservazione di questo partimonio. Anche il Museum Gherdëina di Ortisei è impegnato in questa missione con pubblicazioni, mostre e visite guidate.

The ancient Peza farm
The ancient Peza farm is a monument that history has left us in a meadow in the middle of the woods; it is located in a splendid clearing at an altitude of 1600 m, near the village of San Giacomo, above Ortisei, in Val Gardena. The building dates back to the 13th century, as evidenced by scientific investigations and a document from 1277 that mentions it. It is therefore a symbol of the historical and cultural identity of Val Gardena, a witness to traditions, like many other farms built in the Valley from the Middle Ages onwards that deserve to be protected. It is built with materials found in the surrounding area, in essential forms. The construction is Romanesque-Gothic, a typical example of Einzelhof: a form of rural settlement organized in multiple buildings, one in stone and wood dedicated to the house and in the immediate vicinity the wooden cottage that housed the stable and the chicken coop on the lower floor and the barn upstairs. The complex was inhabited by two families, one part is still private property today, while the Municipality of Ortisei bought the other half in 2006, avoiding its decay and highlighting the importance of preserving this heritage. The Museum Gherdëina in Ortisei is also committed to this mission with publications, exhibitions and guided tours.
