Now for the details:
We will meet Saturday, August 7th, from 10:00 am until 10:30 am on the island at Carburn Park.
Please see the waypoints for parking and boat launch.
At 10:25 am we will take a group photo.
At 10:30 am we will return to shore.
PLEASE NOTE: Canoes, dinghies, and paddle boats are allowed - NO motorized boats. NO swimming.
**Please register for this event by logging your 'Will Attend' with the number of people in your group.
**If you are feeling ill the day of the event, please stay home.
WATERCRAFT REQUIREMENTS:
- Each person must wear a properly-fitting life jacket or personal flotation device. (City by-law)
- A sound-signaling device (whistle, air-horn, bell)
- A paddle
- A rope that floats (e.g. polypropylene) for rescue or to pull your craft to safety
- A bailing device for sit-in crafts
