Kamooks: Checked on this cache today and it is gone. Given the last post, it sounds like the nearby homeowner is not happy with this cache location - even though it is a public bench and on public property. There are plenty of awesome bench locations in this town, so time to move on and look out for a new bench cache in the near future!

Geocache Description:

This cache is near the top of White Street, with a decent view of Saltair harbour to the southeast. White Street is where we spent alot of our Saturdays growing up as kids in Ladysmith in the '60s, visting our Nana at the corner of 3rd and White and spending the money she gave as each week on candy at Loo's corner store another block down the street.

If you have just walked up the hill to the cache, take a seat at the bench to rest and enjoy the view.
