7/27/2021 Quick note: I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed seeing the finds for this cache. My daughter and I hid it on our first backpacking trip (she was 14, and now she's 33!) Thank you to those who have helped maintain this over the years. We moved to Colorado in 2007, so have had to rely on this community to keep it going. I hope to get back to see it one of these days! Enjoy! :-) Jeff & Caitlin
This is a standard tupperware cache. Relatively easy to find as it is not far off of the main trail. The challenge is the nice climb (2,000 feet over 2 miles) in one section of the trail. Beautiful alpine lake. We went beyond to Little Heart Lake, overnighted, and dropped this cache off on the way back down. See pictures for original cache contents which included: 3 glow-in-the-dark plastic bugs Fortune teller goldfish Super stretch smiley-face keychain Plastic firefighter figure pencil and sharpener Geocache logbook.
The Garmin Legend GPS unit in the picture didn't go into the cache!
